Following sell-out shows across Australia in 2008, Alice Cooper will be back in 2009 with a brand new show titled `Theatre of Death`. ‘Theatre of Death’ is once again designed to shock and thrill the fans. An Alice Cooper show is the ultimate rock show. It has always been a horror movie live on stage with a hard rock soundtrack. It is hard to believe Alice has been Alice now for 40 years. The first Alice Cooper album ‘Pretties For You’ debuted in 1969. "We were into fun, sex, death and money when everybody was into peace and love," Alice explains. "We wanted to see what was next. It turned out we were next, and we drove a stake through the heart of the Love Generation." This is the guy who turned an alcohol addiction into a golf addiction and then wrote about it in his autobiography ‘Golf Monster’. The Alice Cooper ‘Theatre of Death’ tour will begin in Wollongong on August 18 and pass through the Gold Coast, Newcastle, Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
The pre-sale for the tour will begin from April 27.
