Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Ali Barter is ready to bash out some #1s now that she's been welcomed to the esteemed family cared for under the umbrella of renowned music publishers Native Tongue.

Having spent much of 2014 sharpening up her performance skills on stages alongside the likes of Husky, The War On Drugs and Phosphorescent in and around releasing her warmly received EP Community in the later stages of last year. With solid airplay from stations such as triple j and community networks around the country behind her, Barter sits poised to strike with force on an unsuspecting 2015.

Taking to Facebook earlier today, Barter expressed her excitement at the deal, which sees her join acts such as Courtney Barnett, The Getaway Plan, Marlon Williams, Wagons and Kingswood under Native Tongue's purview.

"So excited to have signed with the lovely folks at @nativetongueaus! Let's write some #1s!!" the bubbly indie-pop songstress wrote.
