Barter claims Album Of The Week with ‘A Suitable Girl’
After being crowded triple j’s 2013 Unearthed winner, it’s fitting that Melburnian indie rocker Ali Barter’s debut LP, A Suitable Girl, claims the station’s Album Of The Week honours next week.
With Barter’s latest earworm Cigarette earning a wealth of praise and the full LP set to drop next Friday, she’ll hit the road in April and May.
Currently working their magic at SXSW, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever have had their new single, Fresh Press, added to rotation alongside fellow Aus acts Alice Ivy, Gretta Ray (2016's Unearthed winner), Super Cruel and Timberwolf.
Barter’s another triple j Unearthed success story and next week upcoming buzz acts Ben Wright Smith and Lupa J will get their time to shine on the Spots Additions list.
