It's Been A Big Year; These Are Our Top 30 Albums Of 2019 So Far

'The Music' team pick their favourite albums of 2019 so far.

Just like that we've crossed the halfway point for 2019 - it's time for The Music team to take a look back at the year that's been and share the albums we think you have to hear before the year is out.

This year has offered some outstanding, genre-defying albums; works that have informed and will continue to influence worldwide like Lizzo's Cuz I Love You, Billie Eilish's When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? and Amyl & The Sniffers' self-titled debut LP.

Locally, albums like The Beautiful Monument's I'm The Reaper, U-Bahn's eponymous debut, and Julia Jacklin's Crushing are helping shape another strong year for Aussie music.

The 30 albums selected are in alphabetical order, starting with Alex Lahey's second album The Best Of Luck Club, which dropped in May. Hit the next button below to start scrolling through the list.
