Following two guests withdrawing due to illness
The fast-approaching Adelaide Writers’ Week has seen two speakers withdraw due to illness and replacements announced.
Set to go down as part of Adelaide Festival from March 4 – 9, Writers’ Week welcomes award-winning novelist Michael Sala and acclaimed French-Australian author Catherine de Saint Phalle as Chilean poet and novelist Alejandro Zambra and Australian journalist and writer Julia Baird are forced to cancel.
Sala brings his new novel The Restorer to the festival as the pair joins 86 poets, playwrights, novelists, historians, biographers, scientists, feminists, journalists and more from all around the world.
