Adelaide Heavyweights Added To Warped Tour

Another day, another local reveal

The Warped Tour announcements continue today, with the two local Adelaide heavy bands added to their hometown bill.

Melodic deathcore dudes Far West Battlefront will fire up at Ellis Park in December. The band's sound has been described as a mash-up of Whitechapel, Deftones and Bring Me The Horizon with a definite european metal influence, making them a pretty unique act in their genre. They're known for playing a whole lot of live shows so you can expected to see a seasoned set from these guys.

Sierra will also entertain the Adelaide masses at the festival. The 2010 formed outfit fall into the hardcore genre but have plenty of other influences including punk. The energetic band have already toured with the likes of Heights, My Children My Bride, Oh Sleeper and The Story So Far so something tells us they'll have no issue mixing it with the big name Warped acts.

Adelaide's Warped leg takes place at Ellis Park on Sunday 8 December. Relive the full line-up here and you can find all the dates in theGuide.
