ABBA Reunite To Open ABBA-Themed Restaurant

"We are here to party," said Bjorn

More ABBA ABBA Profile

Pop royalty and purveyors of the world's greatest karaoke songs, Swedish quartet ABBA were all reunited at a new restaurant this week in Stockholm, their first time being seen in public together since 2008.

As The Guardian reports, the band were in attendance at the Tyrol restaurant to open new entertainment venture, Mamma Mia! The Party. To the world's collective dismay, Benny Andersson told reporters that though the four were on stage together for the event, they wouldn't be performing together any time soon.

Björn Ulvaeus added, "We are here to party."

The four reportedly arrived and left separately with their respective partners (with both sets of spouses having divorced in the '80s) and did not want to be photographed together. The four did however reunite briefly on stage, with Agnetha Fältskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad even embracing each other. Be still our hearts!
