ABACABB breaks up

Alexandria, VA death metal/metalcore outfit ABACABB has reportedly called it quits.

Alexandria, VA death metal/metalcore outfit ABACABB has reportedly called it quits. Earlier this week bass player Stefan Mills recently quit the band and that the group had cancelled the last few dates of their recent run with The Ghost Inside and Stick To Your Guns.

Formed in 2004, ABACABB released an album with Sumerian Records in early-2009. The group had been scheduled to record a new full-length this spring, though we've been told that said recording never took place.

ABACABB vocalist Tyler Green has issued the following statement about the demise of the band:

"I have heard several things going around on why Abacabb called it quits. It was not just because our bass player quit, or because we had money problems, or any of the other reasons I have heard people talking about.

There are probably a million reasons why we decided that it's best if we all moved on from Abacabb; it was basically a snowball effect that would not end. One thing led to another and it all just became so clear to me and the guys that we should just call it quits. I'm sure you will see a couple of us doing other things in the future"
