Not bad to have on the resume.
When Gold Coast-based DJ Kronic sent some records he had written for US singer Justin Bieber over a year ago he didn't expect to hear anything back, that is, until he surprisingly got word that Biebs had recorded with one of his tracks and now there is a very real chance that the song will be released soon.
"Sometimes you send a track through and never hear back, so you don’t know what will happen," Kronic told theMusic.
"A few months after, I heard from a few people that he'd recorded to it, but I still didn't really believe it. Shit got real when he posted a bunch of previews of new records on his instagram, and my record was one of them.
"Since then, I've had the opportunity to revisit the track and it's moved in a completely different direction, for the better."

The possibility of his song being released is entirely up to Bieber's camp, but the Adelaide-born-LA-based producer is doing everything he can to make it happen.
"What happens next is not up to me, but it’s exciting," he said.
"I've been a Bieber fan pretty much from the jump, and we're working on a way so this sees the light of day."
A similar experience occurred last year with R&B artist Jason Derulo who uploaded a video of himself singing to one of Kronic's beats.
