A Former Hi-5 Star Is Crushing The Competition On Newly Revamped American Idol

But where's JubJub?

More Katy Perry Katy Perry

Former Hi-5 star Fely Irvine is crushing it in the States, as the 29-year old moves forward to the next stage in this year's American Idol.

The singer shared the good news with her Instagram followers, flashing the tell-tale golden ticket that's the key to advancing to the Hollywood portion of the competition.

While the Aussie’s audition won’t be broadcast on air, the singer revealed that she got approval from all three judges — Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan and Katy Perry.

Irvine was a part of the children’s entertainment group Hi-5 between 2009 and 2011 and appeared on the 2014 series of The Voice Australia as a part of Ricky Martin’s team.

The 2018 series of American Idol is the first in two years after a hiatus and features all new judges.
