25-Year-Old Found Dead At Vic Dance Music Festival

They are not treating it as suspicious

A 25-year-old woman has died at Pyalong, Victoria's Earthcore Festival over the weekend, Herald Sun reports.

Authorities have not identified the woman, nor do they know the cause of her death, however they are not treating it as suspicious.

She was found at 4.30pm on Saturday at the site of the four-day festival.

The death follows a number of punters arrested on drug charges at the Sydney leg of the dance music festival, with nine people charged and seven issued a caution.

A 22-year-old man was taken to Liverpool Hospital after a suspected overdose, and one woman was charged with assaulting police resulting in actual bodily harm, having allegedly bitten a police officer and kicked another in the face.
