It's that time of the year again where we gear up for Australian music's night of nights and in 2013, the ARIA Awards will have a new home.
The 27th installment of the awards will be held in the Event Centre at Sydney's The Star, on Sunday 1 December, it's been announced this morning. The ceremony, plus red carpet will also be broadcast again on the Nine Network's digital channel GO!.
Of the move, ARIA CEO Dan Rosen said, “We're thrilled to partner with The Star to host this year's event. After 27 years the ARIA Awards are still the country's biggest celebration of Australian music and the success of our artists in 2013 means we have all the ingredients to make it one of our biggest ARIAs ever."
This year's nominations will be revealed on Tuesday 15 October at the Art Gallery Of NSW.
Winners in 2012 included Gotye, 360, Matt Corby, Kimbra and The Temper Trap.
