The UK outfit have done it again!

More The 1975 More The 1975

The 1975 have picked up their second #1 Australian album this weekend with Notes On A Conditional Form

The UK band's fourth record (and our pick for Album Of The Week following its release) debuted at top spot on the ARIA Albums and Vinyls chart, which follows their first local #1 with I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It back in March 2016.

The 1975 toured Australia this past February as headliners of the 2020 Laneway Festival, however the Cheshire-formed group were forced to pull out of the Brisbane leg just hours before they were due on stage.

Appearing on a recent episode of The Green Room with Neil Griffiths podcast, frontman Matty Healy, who was hospitalised "following a bout of serious sickness", recalled the incident.

"They thought I had gastro or something but it was full on salmonella. So I was fucked," Healy told host Neil Griffiths.
