SXSW Sydney Adds Over 70 Performers, Conference Speakers To 2025 Event

C.O.F.F.I.N., Robert Baxter, Last Quokka, Mariae Cassandra, and Worm Girlz are just some of the Aussie artists joining the SXSW Sydney line-up.

SXSW Sydney has expanded its 2025 event, today announcing 62 acts for its music festival and additional speakers for its conference. The week-long event will begin on Monday, 13 October, and wrap on Sunday, 19 October.

Taking place throughout Sydney, the event will offer 1,600 events and networking opportunities across the music festival and conference event, which also spotlights expos, tech, innovation, art, and gaming.

In terms of international artists, the forthcoming festival has locked in names such as Jasmine Thompson, Holy Void, Vandelux, The Thing, August Wahh, and many others, who join Aussies C.O.F.F.I.N., blue diner, GRXCE, Holly Hebe, Last Quokka, Mariae Cassandra, Robert Baxter, Worm Girlz and stacks more at this year’s event. They’ll perform alongside previously announced acts BADASSMUTHA, Cardinals, Jasmine 4.t, Sacred Hearts, and Swapmeet, among others.

In addition to expanding its music festival line-up, SXSW Sydney has unveiled new speakers joining the line-up, as well as the first music conference sessions.

Speakers joining this year’s event include Outside Lands Founder Bryan Duquette, Rachel So, Festival Manager for Goldenvoice (Coachella and Stagecoach), Head of A&R at Partisan Records, Chris Fraser, Head of Label Relations and Marketing ANZ at Amazon Music, Chantelle Georgiou, and more.

The first sessions of the music conference have also been announced. They will examine AI’s impact on the music industry, the power of superfans, entering new markets, and navigating an ever-evolving music landscape.
