Radical Son Announces Signing To Perfect Pitch Publishing

David Leha, otherwise known to music fans as Radical Son, has announced his signing to Perfect Pitch Publishing.

Leha – an acclaimed artist proudly hailing from the Kamilaroi nation of Australia and the South Pacific nation of Tonga – has spent years as a revered musician, with his resonant voice equally stirring the soul and striking the heart across his myriad efforts.

“Radical Son is a force — on stage, in the studio, and in spirit,” says Clive Hodson, Perfect Pitch Publishing’s Managing Director. “I’ve seen and heard David Leha, aka Radical Son, for many years and admired the raw authenticity of his music, his words, and his performances.

“But it wasn’t until I saw him perform the role of Mubarn (Clever Man) in WA Opera’s Noongar opera Wundig wer Wilura that I truly witnessed the full power of his artistry.”

Formally trained at The Eora Centre for Visual and Performing Arts in Redfern, Leha holds a Bachelor of Music from Newcastle Conservatorium and has worked with both classical ensembled and other celebrated artists such as like David Bridie, Emma Donovan, Frank Yamma, Lady Lash, Mau Power, and Deline Briscoe.

The result is a storied and eclectic discography which transcends genre and speaks directly from the heart.

Releasing the album Cause' ‘N Affect in 2014, a series of singles preceded the release of Leha’s latest album, Bilambiyal, which was released in 2024 to critical acclaim.

Additionally, he’s asserted himself as a live favourite, having performed on stages as visible and varied as Bluesfest, St Kilda Festival, VIVID, the AFL Dreamtime Game, and even Uncle Archie Roach’s 2022 Melbourne memorial service.

As a testament to his diverse talents, Leha is also a multi hyphenate with work in the worlds of film, television, and theatre. Alongside credits in the NITV documentary series Defining Moments, he’s also performed in the starring role of Pemulwuy in I Am Eora at the 2012 Sydney Festival.

A prominent and respected voice in the music industry for many years, eager supporters and admirers of his work are excited to see where his signing with PPP will lead in the future.
