Today is a big day for UNIFIED Music Group, as Pete Murray leads a batch of exciting new signings.
Pete Murray and Boy & Bear’s Tim Hart have signed with the Aussie company and will be managed by Aidan McLaren, Joe Miles and Rhett McLaren. Azure Ryder has also signed with UNIFIED and will be managed by Will Stoeckel.
Along with the signings, UNIFIED has announced that Matt Walters has joined the company’s artist management division, bringing with him impressive names such as Emma Donovan and The Stamps.
Matt Walters joins UNIFIED following an impressive career that began as a recording and touring artist before founding Parlour Gigs. He then became the Director of Concerts in Australia and New Zealand for Sofar Sounds.
Pete Murray, one of Australia’s favourite artists, joins UNIFIED ahead of the release of his highly anticipated new album. He will also embark on the most extensive tour of his career, recently announcing a four-month, 60-date solo acoustic tour across Australia and New Zealand.
Meanwhile, Tim Hart heads to UAM as a solo artist and producer as his new EP, The Kingdom By The Sea, is released this week. In addition to his solo work and commitments with Boy & Bear, Hart is producing albums for Stu Larsen and Steph Strings.

A press release notes that Pete Murray, Azure Ryder, and The Stamps will release new music through the company’s recently launched Community Music, an artist services ecosystem and platform that focuses on artist development, empowerment, distribution, and hands-on support in marketing, audience development, strategic release planning, and custom-built tech.
UNIFIED Artist Management General Manager Ash Hills said of today’s announcement: “Matt’s journey from artist to tech innovator to artist manager is a testament to his deep understanding of what it takes to build a sustainable career in music. His passion for developing artists and creating meaningful opportunities aligns perfectly with what we do at UNIFIED.
“The addition of Matt and so many incredible artists to the UNIFIED Artist Management roster is a sign of intent as we continue to go from strength to strength, expanding our roster with artists and managers who share our vision for long-term, global careers.”
Aidan McLaren added, “We’re so excited to bring Pete Murray and Tim Hart into the growing UNIFIED Music Group family. Pete’s music is timeless, and we genuinely believe the next chapter of his career will be his biggest and brightest, and we can’t wait to help bring it all to life. Tim Hart is a secret weapon in his own right. He’s currently working on a bunch of amazing artist projects as well as his own solo work, and up-and-coming Boy & Bear releases, so it’s going to be a big year!”
