Ticketmaster has launched its latest app, with a focus on personalisation – discovering and tracking events at the forefront of its capabilities.

Today, things like following your favourite artists and performers, finding last-minute tickets and discovering the hottest new show just got easier.

Some of the new features include a Watchlist for tracking upcoming events, a refreshed Favourites tool where you can follow artists, performers, and more; a smarter search function, updated location services, and a fresh new Home page that contains tabs like For You, Trending, and Last Minute, showcasing events tailored for you.

The new app is now available globally across 21 markets on iOS and Android, with wider access coming soon.

According to a press release, the updated Ticketmaster app follows feedback from punters about difficulties finding and attending gigs.

In a recent survey, about 40% of music fans said they didn’t attend an event because they didn’t know it was happening.

So, Ticketmaster aims to change that with its personalised new Home and Watchlist features, putting live entertainment front and centre for punters who download the app.

“Too many fans first hear about a great show after it’s happened,” explained Saumil Mehta, Global President at Ticketmaster. “That insight, and what we’ve heard directly from fans, has shaped this app update.”

Mehta continued, “It’s the beginning of a broader effort to build more fan-inspired experiences that make discovering, following and enjoying live events feel more personal every step of the way.”

Late last year, Ticketmaster secured the Venues NSW contract, becoming the official ticketing partner for major venues such as the SCG and Accor Stadium.

Ticketmaster is the ticketing agent for eight venues in metro and regional New South Wales, including the Sydney Cricket Ground, Allianz Stadium, Accor Stadium, CommBank Stadium, and Penrith Stadium, which is set to reopen in 2027.

The company also maintained longstanding partnerships with venues like WIN Stadium, WIN Entertainment Centre, and McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle.
