The AAM Awards (that is, the Association of Artist Managers Awards) are back for another year, with the event opening up 2025 nominations and firming up details of its coming edition.

Returning for its fourth annual outing, the AAM Awards this year will take place in Naarm/Melbourne on Wednesday, April 30th at the Northcote Social Club. Details on live performances, special guest speakers, and presenters will be confirmed at a later date.

Like previous years, the awards will seek to celebrate the exceptional achievements of Australian artist managers while also spotlighting the global impact, dedication, and passion that these managers have had in regard to Aussie talent both at home and aboard.

Ultimately, it’s a chance for managers and industry professionals to come together and to celebrate and reflect upon the individual and collective milestones of the Australian management community.

“We are thrilled to be rolling into our fourth edition of the AAM Awards this year,” explains AAM Executive Director Maggie Collins. “Australian managers work tirelessly to build sustainable careers for their artists, and our goal is to celebrate those achievements, in what is usually the most heart-warming event of the year.”

This year will see six awards presented, including Manager of the Year, Breakthrough Manager of the Year, Community Engagement Award, Legacy Award, and the Patrons Gift, as curated by AAM Patrons. A new award will also be handed out, with the Emerging Manager of the Year Award being distributed for the first time.

“We have introduced a new Award category this year simply to service the overwhelming supply of successful managers who have been achieving astronomical success on the global stage,” Collins continued.

“We have refined the category definitions, criteria and nomination process to best capture this information, and we cannot wait to honour our members’ journeys from the past 12 months.”

Nominations for the aforementioned awards are now open, with AAM Members now ableto nominate themselves or another manager for one or more of the categories, including Manager of the Year, Breakthrough Manager of the Year, Emerging Manager of the Year, and the Community Engagement Award.

Nominations will close at midnight on March 3rd. Full details about this year’s event are available via the AAM Awards website.
