New Australian Music Show Debuts On Commercial Radio

ACE Radio Network has welcomed a brand-new Australian music show that listeners are sure to enjoy.

AS IT DROPS begins this Sunday, 16 February, with host Kayla Wilson ready to introduce listeners to their favourite new Australian music.

The program is set to offer listeners a “dynamic and fresh approach” to Australian music, per the AS IT DROPS Instagram, where it will air the hottest tracks, expose listeners to up-and-coming local artists, exclusive interviews, and offer insights into the Australian music industry. AS IT DROPS will broadcast across the ACE Radio Network and through the LiSTNR app.

AS IT DROPS will play every Sunday from 6 to 9 pm across eight ACE Radio Network stations. According to a Radio Info report, the show will air on Mixx FM 101.3 Horsham and the Wimmera Mallee, Mixx FM 88.9 Hamilton and Western Victoria, Mixx FM 106.3 Colac and the South West, Mixx FM 107.7 Swan Hill and the Mallee, Edge FM 102.1 Wangaratta, the North East and Border, Edge FM 102.5 Deniliquin, Northern Victoria and the Southern Riverina, Coast FM 95.3 Warrnambool and the Great South Coast, TR FM 99.5, and 99.9 Gippsland.

Wilson said of the new program, “I have such a deep personal connection to music; I’m so keen to bring unique insights and a genuine love for discovering and sharing new sounds with listeners. This will be YOUR weekly celebration of Australian music creativity and culture.”

Detailing the dynamic music that will feature on the program, Wilson added: “Each episode will feature a mix of new releases, flashbacks and commentary on the local music scene. From indie and rock to electronic and metal, the show will cover a wide range of genres, ensuring there’s something for every music lover.”
