Australian music will be celebrated at this year’s ARIA Awards, with ARIA today revealing a stacked list of homegrown performers and presenters ahead of this year’s ceremony.

Taking place on Wednesday, 20 November, at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion, Australian music’s night of nights will feature performances by artists including this year’s Hall of Fame inductee Missy Higgins, The Kid LAROI, 3%, Jessica Mauboy, CYRIL, The Presets’ Julian Hamilton, country star Troy Cassar-Daley, Amy Shark, Angie McMahon, and Teen Jesus And The Jean Teasers, with more to be announced.

In addition to the all-Australian performances, this year’s award ceremony will see performances from international stars Ava Max and Kane Brown (the latter performing in arenas across the country this month).

Jessica Mauboy, 3%, Julian Hamilton, CYRIL, Troy Cassar-Daley, and Kane Brown are set to participate in unique collaborations just for the ARIAs. Closing the event, Missy Higgins will be inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame and celebrate the achievement with a performance of her greatest hits alongside her friends and collaborators.

If the performers’ list wasn’t enough, the ARIAs will include presenters Budjerah, Fanny Lumsden, Tkay Maidza, Richard Wilkins, Latifa Tee, Artemas, and more, with Royel Otis and Dom Dolla dialling in from overseas.

ARIA CEO Annabelle Herd said of this year’s performers and presenters’ line-up: “It has been an absolutely huge year for Aussie music, and this year’s ARIA Awards will showcase that landmark moment as our artists celebrate major success on the global and local stage.

“The 2024 ARIA Awards nominees aren’t just loved at home; they’re commanding audiences from Europe to the U.S. to Asia and collaborating with international icons while bringing a distinctly Australian perspective to the cultural conversation.”

Herd continued, “With local and international stars joining us both on the red carpet and on stage, the 2024 ARIA Awards will celebrate Australian music’s powerful role in the global conversation with some spectacular performances, unique collaborations, and a couple of sneaky surprises. See you in two weeks!”

Marion Goodman-Briand, who leads Music Partnerships for YouTube Australia and New Zealand, added: “The ARIA Awards are always an unforgettable night, and this year's line-up is no exception. We're looking forward to seeing established and rising acts collaborating together.

“From Jess Mauboy, 3%, CYRIL to The Kid LAROI - the blend of genres is set to showcase the rich variety of talent coming from Australia. YouTube is the place to be for all the ARIA excitement: the show-stopping performances, the emotional acceptance speeches, and yes, even those awkward red carpet moments.”

More announcements about this year’s ARIAs will be made ahead of the official ceremony in two weeks’ time.

The 2024 ARIA Awards will be broadcast live from the Hordern Pavilion from 5 pm AEDT on Wednesday, 20 November, on Stan. A special presentation will also air on Channel Nine, with performances and other moments viewers may want to watch airing on the official ARIA YouTube channel.
