14-year-old viral sensation Maple's Pet Dinosaur has added another massive achievement to her ever-growing list, announcing an exclusive signing with New World Artists for touring.

The eponymous Maple made her official debut in the music world just last month with her debut single lego, with the anti-bullying anthem being inspired by real-world experiences, and pairing the impactful lyrics with heavy ‘90s-inspired guitars.

“This isn’t a throwback,” Maple said of the song. “I want to tell real stories about being a teenager today, especially a teenage girl. Writing this song gave me the strength to set boundaries and find my people. Now I want to build that community further through the music.”

The song’s release was also accompanied by a music video which saw Maple and her band crafting a no-budget, guerilla-style clip by utilising a neighbour’s doorbell ring camera.

The clip soon took off and went vital, having amassed over 50 million views on Instagram in the past few weeks, over 2 million views on TikTok, and close to 50k streams on Spotify alone – with many users checking in from international locations.

Clearly, Maple is on her way to big things, and as she gains momentum, she’s now signed exclusively with New World Artists for touring ahead of her highly-anticipated touring debut.

“We are very excited about working with Maple and rapidly rolling out a live strategy designed to build resilience, developing road hardened performance skills and experienced stage craft, growing a live following at a pace that is sustainable for such a young musician,” new World Artists’ Edwin Tehrani said in a statement.

“Edwin and the team at New World have helped build and guide the live careers of so many killer Australian artists and I’m pumped to be on the roster,” added Maple. “It’s important as a young artist that I’m with a team that will support the band and I as we grow into bigger stages, and I couldn’t be more confident that I’m in the right place.”

Having made her live debut just a few months ago, Maple’s Pet Dinosaur will undoubtedly be eager additions to the touring scene before too long.
