Live Nation Acquires Face To Face Touring Portfolio Including Red Hot Summer, One Electric Day

Live Nation have announced a landmark partnership with newly launched regional touring mecca Face To Face, bolstering the latter company’s means to hold major events in provincial Australian areas.

Announcing their latest acquirement in a press release this morning (December 12), Live Nation assured us the move signifies both companies’ “ongoing dedication to supporting local talent and bringing world-class live entertainment to even more corners of the country”. Face To Face will be active as a standalone brand, utilising Live Nation’s global resources and talent portfolio to grow exponentially.

Live Nation say the move will give Face To Face the ability to host “a more diverse portfolio of shows and music”, and benefit artists with “unique opportunities to connect with [more] fans across Australia”.

Face To Face itself came to be with the merging of two independent touring agencies – Zaccaria Concerts And Touring and Regional Touring Event Enterprises – with its shared event portfolio including the Red Hot Summer tour, SummerSalt, By The C, Castaway, Live In The Vines, One Electric Day, and Lookout.

In a formal statement, Duane McDonald – promoter and founder of Regional Touring Event Enterprises – vouched that he and his team are “thrilled with the unique opportunities this partnership will create for fans, as well as our employees, contractors, and business partners”. He added: “There will continue to be a strong focus on delivering the high quality of artists and concert experiences that fans love, with the backing of the world’s leading promoter and live entertainment company.”

John Zaccaria, promoter and founder of Zaccaria Concerts And Touring, shared the sentiment, saying in a statement of his own: “By bringing together our companies to form Face to Face Touring we are creating a strong platform for growth.
