Highly respected music industry executive Annette Gevert has secured herself a career change: she’s joining the newly launched Bronwyn Tasker PR.
Back in March, the revered Australian music industry professional Bronwyn Tasker launched her own company after departing Sony last December.
Based in Sydney, the new agency sees Tasker working with musicians, entertainers, cultural figures, and brands both at home and abroad, working closely with artists and their teams to create meaningful media opportunities that resonate beyond core fan bases.
Now, as the company expands, Tasker has secured Annette Gevert as Senior Publicist & Promotions Manager.
Gevert brings more than 18 years of experience in the Australian music industry to her new role, with a background spanning publicity, promotions, artist relations, and campaign strategy. She recently spent six years at Sony Music Australia, holding roles as Alternative Radio Manager and Promotions Manager.
She’s widely known and regarded for her strong industry relationships, strategic instincts, and a collaborative approach to artist campaigns, media relations, and promotions.
“I’ve admired Bronwyn’s work for years,” Gevert said. “She has already grown her roster to include some of Australia’s premier acts, and the chance to help build something from the ground up with her was too good to pass up.
“I’m excited to bring my relationships and experience to the artists and teams we work with, and to be part of this next chapter.”
Tasker’s current roster of clients includes the likes of Amber Lawrence, Dami Im, Eskimo Joe, Kaylee Bell, Katie Noonan, Leigh-Anne, and Lenka.

Decades of working in the music industry have seen Tasker work with some of the biggest names in local and international music, including the likes of the Foo Fighters, Harry Styles, Bruce Springsteen, and AC/DC, alongside other favourites such as Guy Sebastian, Tones And I, Tash Sultana, and Jessica Mauboy.
