It’s a big day for the Association of Artist Managers (AAM), which today revealed the managers nominated for this year’s AAM Awards and announced the host of the award ceremony.
The AAM has previously announced the recipient of the 2026 Legacy Award – Melita Hodge of Six Boroughs Management, who’s known for her work representing artists such as Kasey Chambers, Andy Golledge, Denvah, and others.
This year’s award ceremony, held on Wednesday, 29 April, at Sydney’s Crowbar during a mid-afternoon, invite-only event, will be hosted by comedian Matt Okine.
Okine is an award-winning comedian who’s appeared on screens and stages, starring in The Other Guy and the reboot of Mother And Son. Meanwhile, he and Alex Dyson co-host SCA’s All Day Breakfast on the LiSTNR app and previously hosted triple j’s Breakfast Show.
Award nominees have been chosen across multiple categories, including Manager of the Year, Breakthrough Manager of the Year, Emerging Manager of the Year, and the Community Engagement Award.
The finalists have been determined following thorough consultation by a judging committee of representatives across the Australian and international music industry. Together, they represent artists including Boy & Bear, Folk Bitch Trio, Mack Geiger, Amyl And The Sniffers, SPEED, Wade Forster, Miss Kaninna, Mia Wray, and many others.
