Wilbur Wilde plays + sings Jazz with John Montesante Quintet

JMQ Jazz Ensemble is always delighted to present singer-saxophonist WILBUR WILDE with JMQ Jazz Ensemble, at the welcoming Golden Gate Hotel, South Melbourne.

On Thursday AUG 20, 2026, he shall be accompanied by an all-star line up :Tony Floyd (drums), Nick Haywood (d.bass), John McAll (piano) & John Montesante (trumpet)

Wilbur has had a long, stellar career on stage, television, radio and as a touring celebrity artist. He and bandleader John have performed together across genres since the seventies - and in more recent decades, mainly Jazz with John Montesante Quintet.

Doors open at 6:30pm and Live Jazz at 7pm.Meals and drinks are available all evening during the show.
