Beloved San Francisco songwriter Sonny Smith returns to Australian shores this October with his cult garage-pop/folk-rock outfit Sonny & The Sunsets — this time backed by an all-star Aussie lineup featuring Shaun Gionis (The Green Child, Boomgates), Mark Monnone (The Lucksmiths, Monnone Alone), and Zoe Fox (Zoe Fox & The Rocket Clocks, Ccino). Think jangly riffs, melodic warmth and plenty of character - the band will play a one-off night of guitars, twang and charm for their only Sydney (Eora) show, at the Marrickville Bowls Club on Friday 10th October.
