Between touring with The Slingers and working on their next album, Petrol Williams has been quietly crafting something entirely his own. His debut solo EP ‘Fairywrens’ dropped on June 5, 2025, and he’s bringing it to life on stage at the Bergy Band Room on Thursday the 16th of October. Infusing new wave, dark wave and post punk, with an underlying propensity for storytelling and sincere lyricism, Petrol Williams live debut is not to be missed.
Main support comes from Melbourne synth dream pop outfit, Adored, who off the back of their 2024 self titled release have cemented themselves as a group to follow closely for future releases.
Joining them will be Beneo. Beneo is the solo project of former Diet and Kitschen boy member, Ben O’loughlin. Combining soft rock, dolewave, and alternative rock genres, Beneo’s debut release is set for late 2025.
The night will also celebrate the vinyl release of ‘Fairywrens’, released via 2up Records.
