There’s a quiet power to Nectar Woode, a magnetic blend of soulfulness, sensitivity and self-discovery that runs

through every note she sings. Raised in Milton Keynes and born to Ghanaian British parents, Woode grew up

surrounded by creativity, gospel harmonies and the timeless sounds of Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Stevie Wonder

and Donny Hathaway.

Her music moves between neo-soul, folk, jazz, gospel and raw, diaristic songwriting, creating a sound that feels

both deeply personal and universally resonant. Following the release of her debut EP Nothing to Lose in 2022,

Head Above Water in 2024, and 2025’s it's like I never left, Woode has continued to build momentum through
