What?

Two beloved Melbourne singer-songwriters present sets exploring longing, love, inspiration - full of shapes, colour and texture.

Dan Cully is a Melbourne based solo musician who writes original Indie/ roots music.

His instrumental talent incorporates harmonica, didgeridoo, stomp box, guitar and soaring vocal melodies, giving his solo performance the power of a band. His sound can be likened to artists such as Xavier Rudd, John Butler.

Bron is the moniker of singer-songwriter Bronwyn Rose Hicks, who was raised in a special little patch of Victoria’s Dandenong Ranges surrounded by rainforest, fern gullies and berry farms. Her background tells of a versatile instrumentalist and performer – cutting her teeth as a violinist before performing as a member of experimental vocal ensemble Invenio. After completing her studies at Monash, a stint living in Europe saw Bron jamming regularly with jazz musicians in the French Alps whilst completing further studies in composition at the CRR d’Annecy.

Fresh off the back of releasing her debut album In Another Realm to a packed house at The Catfish in June, Bron will bring an intimate set of her original music to the Kew Court House Live series with Robbie Finch on double bass and Andrew Moharic on guitar and harmonium.

Genre: Folk, acoustic pop
