Groove at the Bergy

Join us at the Bergy Bandroom for a night of groove and inspired music from 4 exceptional bands. With something from all the musical compass points - blues, funk, post-bop and big-band jazz - the Bergy is set to showcase some of Naarn's finest established and emerging musicians all on the one stage.



The night starts with the cinematic, post-rock improvisations of the trio Taken By Fish, playing unexpected sounds joined at the hip with a dash of krautrock.



This sets the stage for Krill - a 5 piece with something new to say - with players who explore jazz-standards in new and fresh player ways.



Plan B is an 18-piece big band that grooves effortlessly through some of the catchiest classic-era jazz, accompanied by our very own Julia Sandel, who provides just the right vocal mix of power and style.



New York Minute completes the night's groove journey with their sophisticated bluesy-infused horn lines and tight rhythmic interplay, a 9-piece collective that meshes vocals and killer ensemble playing.



One night - four bands - dedicated to groove and all things worth hearing in music.
