Chromeo is touching down in Kiama for The Great DJ Trek Down Under featuring support from the talented Fleetmac Wood!
Now almost twenty years into their storied career, Montreal-natives Dave 1 and P-Thugg have turned an inseparable childhood friendship into a world-renowned, critically acclaimed marquee band, largely credited for pioneering the 80s-tinged electrofunk sound that permeates radio airwaves today. Chromeo are known for their analog synth sonics, catchy hooks and iconic visuals, but also as a relentless touring act, selling out shows internationally and regularly appearing on festival stages. 2023 marked Chromeo's fifth performance at Coachella (they've also played Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo four times) and their seventh annual headline show at Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheater.
Fleetmac Wood joins the trek with their globally adored reimagining of Fleetwood Mac’s catalogue. Since 2012, DJs Roxanne Roll and Alex Oxley have transformed the band’s classics into exclusive disco, house and cosmic edits.
Their hypnotic sets have lit up festivals and clubs worldwide including Hï Ibiza, Burning Man, Glastonbury, Coachella, fabric, Printworks, Wonderfruit, Falls and Pitch, with a recent sellout at California’s famed Pappy & Harriet’s. Having shared stages with the likes of Fatboy Slim, Moby, Chic, Groove Armada, Peggy Gou, Jungle, Hot Chip and more, Fleetmac Wood continues to unite dance floors with their singular, hedonistic energy.
Also special thank you to Destination Kiama for helping our event happen.
