Alexandria's popular craft beer and live music venue, Yulli's Brews, is taking its culinary experience to new heights with the launch of an innovative plant-based Thai fusion menu, perfect for the summer season.
The brewery, already celebrated for its delicious vegan offerings and vibrant atmosphere, is set to tease your taste buds with a unique blend of traditional Thai flavours and modern culinary twists.
Head Chef Awirut “Folk” Chaweephat, renowned for his culinary expertise, has crafted a menu that promises to transport diners straight to the streets of Thailand, but with a distinctive Yulli’s twist. The menu features an array of mouth-watering dishes, including a turmeric cauliflower pad thai with crispy king brown mushrooms and a tantalizing tom yum fried rice, creatively served in a net of fried shredded pastry.
Each dish is a celebration of bold flavours, incorporating elements like holy basil, chilli, galangal, ginger, and expertly balanced dressings, all designed to complement Yulli’s array of craft beers.

The culinary adventure doesn't stop there. Diners can also indulge in grilled satay eggplant skewers topped with crispy shallots, garlic chive fritters accompanied by chilli and soy sauce, and the innovative Thai-namese 'double' rolls – a fusion of lettuce, fresh Asian herbs, and a crispy Thai spring roll, served with a delectable peanut and hoisin dipping sauce.
For those who favour spicy and aromatic dishes, the dry-fried cauliflower jungle curry is a must-try, and the meal can be sweetly concluded with a coconut ice-cream sandwich nestled between salted peanut cookies.
Available for both lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Sunday, the menu is 100% vegan, catering to a wide range of dietary preferences.
Families are also welcome, with kid-friendly options available.
For those looking to sample a bit of everything, Yulli’s offers a banquet option at $39.50 per head, ideal for groups of two or more. The brewery is also currently accepting bookings for Christmas functions.
In addition to the culinary delights, Yulli's Brews continues to be a hub for entertainment. The venue regularly hosts free live music events, details of which can be found on their 'what's on' page. Comedy enthusiasts should mark their calendars for the upcoming Yulli's Brews Comedy Hoo-Ha on Wednesday, 22 November, featuring headliner Luke Heggie and US comic Gareth Reynolds.
Tickets are priced at $35 per person, including a beer upon arrival.
