Wollombi Music Festival Artist Focus: Zoe K

Wollombi Music Festival is turning seven this year! Have you been to the event before? Yes, I played there just before. I love festivals that are in green surroundings - that always reflects on the kind of people and atmosphere it attracts. You won't find none of those shirtless dude-bros.

Do you tend to hang around at festivals and check out everything else on offer, or just do your set and be on your way? Hanging around and seeing the rest of the acts is the best thing about festivals. I've made some of my really good friends from festivals, be they other musicians or punters.

Are you eyeing off a cottage for the event, or will you be at the camp site? I am lucky to have some little connects in the Hunter Valley so I'll be resting in 1000-thread count Egyptian cotton sheets. Not sure how the other people live.

Which other acts are you keen to check out at the festival? Lachy Doley, especially if he brings his whammy clavinet! Cheap Fakes… actually everyone! It's a great line-up.

When can we catch your set? I'll be opening the festival, so make sure you get there on time!
