"We are so excited to be releasing our debut studio EP into the world."
Did you ever look over at your buddy during music class and think 'we should start a band'? Plenty of kids pick up instruments at lunch time and bash out ear-splintering renditions of Smoke On The Water or 20-minute long experimental guitar solos, but folk singer-songwriter duo Wolf & Willow took their high school musical journal to the next level. They debuted their act "with a backyard gig" and have been "humbl[ed] and motivate[ed] to be surrounded by such a competitive scene of local musicians," says Tim Richardson, who doubles as their lead singer and manager.
Their debut EP Born To Be is "a reflection of the fond memories and trials faced emerging [from] our younger years. The EP will take you on a journey of ups and downs commencing with vibrant, pop melodies perfect for your summer sessions, then [it] takes you on an easy listening, singer-songwriter adventure.
"We have been performing as musicians on the stage for many years, but recording has proved to be an exciting learning experience for us," he explains. "We are so excited to be releasing our debut studio EP into the world. We are excited and hopeful for the opportunities it might present, but holistically content with the journey in manifesting these adventures as our debut studio EP."
