Offering an unparalleled experience with its unique alpine exterior, the massive project is set to feature 'ice shard' details and textural surfaces that mimic the appearance of a blizzard, inspired by the melting of glacial ice and the flow of water in the nearby Nepean River.

The centrepiece of the facility is a sprawling 300-metre indoor ski slope, accompanied by a colossal Olympic-sized ice rink.

Winter sports enthusiasts will find a dedicated space for activities such as ice hockey, speed skating, alpine skiing, and even ice climbing.

Visitors can anticipate not only winter sports but also luxurious amenities, including a revolving restaurant offering stunning snow views, a 170-room hotel, and state-of-the-art conference and function rooms.

The ambitious project is not only a boon for thrill-seekers but also for the local economy. Winter Sports World is expected to generate approximately 900 ongoing tourism jobs.

Moreover, the resort is projected to contribute up to $80 million annually to the New South Wales economy.

Once operational, Winter Sports World will serve as a relevant training ground for nine Olympic sports, including alpine skiing, freestyle skiing, snowboarding, figure skating, ice hockey, and speed skating.

The Winter Sports World project has been in the works for nearly seven years, and construction is set to kick off soon. The exterior architecture, designed by the renowned boutique Sydney architecture firm Collins & Turner, promises to be a visual spectacle that complements the exciting experiences on offer.
