Following its premiere with the cool kittens over at Acclaim Mag yesterday, it's time for Pilerats readers to get around the new video clip from our latest signee - Catlips - and her single Fade. The first single from her recently-released Casual EP, Fade is a bouncy slice of avant-house, and now comes fresh with a video clip directed by disco diva Chela AKA Bon Bon Espiritu. Of the collaboration, Catlips said:
"I met Chelsea at one of her gigs in Perth about a year ago through a drunken fake interview which she handled very well. Turns out she is a 10/10 gal and we hung out over the next few months at random, memorable occasions and I recently remixed her latest single Handful Of Gold. While she was back in Australia and playing a show in Perth we hung out and got chatting about video clips, she said she wanted to direct more and I figured her creative vibes would be the perfect ingredient to bring Fade to life. She encompasses my aesthetic intention for the track; vibrant, sharp and intriguing."
