Give us a short description of your music: Dark, intense, heavy, electronic hip hop, experimental bass, industrial trap, dancehall techno beats.

What is the best thing that's happened to you/your band so far? Definitely winning the triple j Unearthed competition and opening up Listen Out festival in Perth!

Has the party side of the music industry been all you were hoping for so far in your career? That's one factor but music has many sides. I intend to push the art form further with the use of new technologies, create lifelong friendships and help and teach others and experience new places around the world. 

What industry lessons would you like to take away from WAMFest? Just more general knowledge on everything to do on the business side of things because in this industry it is essential. 

What acts are you looking forward to checking out at WAMFest? Leon Osborne, Mathas, Moana, Rok Riley, Sugar Army, Tangled Thoughts Of Leaving, Time Pilot, Usurper Of Modern Medicine, Bahasa Malay... so many good acts over a range of genres and styles!

Why should people come and see you from amongst the many cool bands at WAMFest? Tobacco Rat is more than just the music. It is an intense audiovisual experience of dark electronic heavy beats with a giant albino rat at the helm.
