WAMFest Focus: The Crystal Moth

Give us a short description of your music: Riffs? Riffs!

What is the best thing that's happened to you/your band so far? The Crystal Moth was a semifinalist in The Big Splash Competition in 2016, which was the most rewarding experience we have shared as a band to date.

Has the party side of the music industry been all you were hoping for so far in your career? The fact that any gig, at any venue, at any time can feel like a party is a good indication of how great the music industry is.

What industry lessons would you like to take away from WAMFest? There's a lot of stiff competition in our city; to work out what it takes to cement yourself as a 'must-see' act.

What acts are you looking forward to checking out at WAMFest? There's too much good music packed into one weekend, but looking forward to sets from Ah Trees, POW! Negro, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Moana and Segue Safari.

Why should people come and see you from amongst the many cool bands at WAMFest? If your cup is somehow not yet full from the mammoth day of music, The Crystal Moth will take you on a wild and psychedelic ride into the night.

When and where is your WAMFest gig? 5 Nov, The Boston
