Fresh Finds: Class Of 2025 – Aussie Acts To Add To Your Playlist

WAMFest Focus: Segue Safari

Band: Segue Safari

Give us a short description of your music: Our music can be described as quirky, melancholy, slightly weird pop music.

What is the best thing that's happened to you/your band so far? It's hard to pinpoint one particular thing, but some highlights have been getting to support Cate Le Bon and playing last year's WAMFest and RTRFM's Distant Murmurs earlier this year.

Has the party side of the music industry been all you were hoping for so far in your career? Not necessarily, but we definitely appreciate a good party. I think the kind of music we play isn't really party music. We should probably do more partying.

What industry lessons would you like to take away from WAMFest? It'd be nice to know how it all works!

What acts are you looking forward to checking out at WAMFest? So many! Jacob Diamond, Golden String, The Chlorines, Ah Trees, Hideous Sun Demon, Sly Withers, Salary...

Why should people come and see you from amongst the many cool bands at WAMFest? Pity?

When and where is your WAMFest gig? 5 Nov, Perth Institute Of Contemporary Arts
