Give us a short description of your music: DIY alternative rock, pop, funk.
What is the best thing that's happened to you/your band so far? Having really talented and lovely people support the project, both behind the scenes and on stage. Supporting Koi Child, getting a 4.5 review from triple j and a Rolling Stone mention, and of course the WAMi nomination is nice too!
Has the party side of the music industry been all you were hoping for so far in your career? If "party" means sitting solo in my bedroom for countless hours mumbling melodies and flipping coins to decide between an Fmaj7 or a Dmin9, then yes, I must be Perth's premier Prince Of Parties.
What industry lessons would you like to take away from WAMFest? This is honestly not something I have thought about, sorry!
What acts are you looking forward to checking out at WAMFest? Lilt, Bells Rapids, The Money War, Tobacco Rat.
Why should people come and see you from amongst the many cool bands at WAMFest? Because The Bird is a great venue with a cool courtyard area to chilllll back on an espresso martini.
