WAM Festival Speaker Profile: Andy Jarvis

Organisation and Position: In recent years, I've played in bands such as Rocket To Memphis, The Isolites, Bang Bang Betty & the H-Bombs, Voudou Zazou and CATZILLA.

How did you first become involved in the music business? Started off playing in a band and it was all downhill from there!

What's your area of expertise and what experience do you have? Guitarist/songwriter in original bands since the early ‘80s. I've gigged and recorded in Australia, the UK, Japan and the States.

What topics will you be mostly talking about at WAM? Touring in Japan.

What do you hope to personally take away from the WA Music Conference and WAM Festival events? It's always great to meet other musicians and share what you've learnt.

What's one question about the music industry you'd love to have the answer to? I've got lots of answers but haven't figured out the questions yet!

One piece of advice to make it in the music biz? Stay true to what YOU believe in and ALWAYS be reliable.
