The Washing Line Economy share their brand new video today, premiering exclusively with The Music

Dubbed Mirrors, the video was shot by Jake Crawford - who has previously worked with Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Great Gable and Death By Denim - in the Perth Hills area.

"Mirrors deals with philosophy and wearing your metaphorical mirror to fit into society,” said the band of the track.

"It also deals with doubting the continuation of capitalist society as the climate crisis reaches fever pitch and infinitely increasing GDP seems like nothing but a fantasy.”

"Filming the video was quite a task but well worth it!” they continued.

"We grossly underestimated the distance of the hike to the quarry, so we ended up walking around 10km with music gear, mirrors and filming gear in hand!"

The track is the second single taken from The Washing Line Economy's forthcoming EP, Charles Bonnet, which will be out on Friday 22 October.

They'll be celebrating the EP's release with a show at Badlands Bar in Perth, head to theGuide for all the info.
