VIDEO PREMIERE: The Kava Kings - 'Friends'

There's coconuts, conniving, a tropical island and more in The Kava Kings' new video for Friends, premiering today on theMusic.com.au.

Watch as we follow our protagonist, Patrick, become stranded on a far-away beach, find solace in the company of another before having it brutally ripped away at the last second, leaving you asking yourself — 'was it all just a fever dream brought on by drinking sea water?'

Friends is taken from the quintet's upcoming debut LP which they've been working on with producer Joel Quartermain (Eskimo Joe) and is due out later in the year.

The boys are just about to kick off on an Aussie tour, hitting Wollongong, Bathurst, Culburra, Melbourne and Sydney throughout May.
