"A song dedicated to how vast and precious the Australian landscape truly is."
A simple but very well-executed music video idea elevates the beautiful melodies of Stephen Grady’s Wonder.
Premiering today via The Music, the new clip arrives ahead of Grady’s Wonder album next Friday, October 23.
“We set up the shot in my lounge room with a light positioned on the outside balcony shining through the window blinds to create a striking contrast and the overarching visual theme,” Grady told The Music.
“The glowing red light emanating the video symbolises the red earth of the Australian outback, the inspiration for writing Wonder. To give the video a point of difference we filmed and overlaid three takes with the camera slowly panning from left to right.
“Wonder is a song dedicated to how vast and precious the Australian landscape truly is, and is my proudest song to date.”
Filmmaker rcstills added: "Much like the previous video I made with Steve, I wanted to keep this one experimental yet - at it's core - very simple, allowing the song to breathe and the visual acting more as an assist to the song.

“Utilising a minimal motion sequence through a phone app we were able to seamlessly layer the multiple shots into the ‘one take’.”
