"A song that you can sing to yourself when you need to build courage in the face of fear."
Melbourne five-piece Raging Hormones are today unveiling the visuals for their newest single, Power Hour, premiering via The Music.
The single's purpose is to uplift and features punk powered hooks, pop favourable melodies and euphoric raucous energy.
The accompanying video, directed by Nick Manuell, reflects this energy with an uptempo, therapeutic yet disruptive aesthetic.
"Power Hour is designed to be a song that you can sing to yourself when you need to build courage in the face of fear," Raging Hormones stated.
"It's about going against the grain and doing something 'just because' you know it's the right thing to do. It's about gut instinct and being open and honest to the world about your feelings. Sometimes you have to fight to feel good and Power Hour is a weapon that you can use in that battle.
"To me, this song is the musical equivalent of a 'break room' - one of those places that you can go to just smash stuff for a while to cleanse yourself of whatever is getting you down.

"I wanted the video to emulate the chaos of being in a place and moment like that while also capturing the pure joy that can be brought from just letting it all go and cutting loose."
