VIDEO PREMIERE: Paris Irwin - 'Dark Tourist'

Queensland indie-roots artist Paris Irwin has just shared the vid for her brand new tune, Dark Tourist.

Premiering the clip right here with The Music, Irwin said the visuals took a lot of inspiration from adolescent imaginations and the desire for some otherworldly secrets.

“The Dark Tourist video is really an imaginative visualisation of my childhood belief that I didn’t fit in because I had some kind of magical powers," she stated. 

"However, at its crux, what it is detailing is how no matter how much the character tries to escape their ways, hide parts of themselves or runaway from their own mind, they always end up back where they started, at the fact that they’re just different." 

Irwin continued, "I am a very visual person, so everything from the set design to the colour of the costumes is symbolic of something. I hope everyone enjoys this fantastical ride as much as I did making it. Channel your inner Sabrina The Teenage Witch and get whisked away with your imagination”
