“For me, it's a reminder of the beauty and strength that came from rebuilding myself."
The new music video from Brisbane indie folk rock artist Nicole McKinney is an extremely “personal and empowering” one.
Premiering today via The Music, the Another Day clip, directed and produced by Phoebe Faye, adds another layer to the track’s already emotional story of loss, betrayal and humiliation.
“The scenes reminisce on the close relationship that vulnerability and strength had throughout my healing process,” McKinney told The Music.
“For me, it's a reminder of the beauty and strength that came from rebuilding myself.
"Shooting this video was so wholesome and fun. The biggest struggle was shooting the ocean scenes and trying not to get myself destroyed by the unexpectedly ruthless waves.

“It was really special shooting the beach scene near my hometown. I felt super comfortable and in touch with my emotions when shooting this part of the video. Overall the experience was really heartwarming."
