"I had to find reasons to fight and be ruthless in discarding any reason that wasn’t rock solid."
By the age of 12, Nathan Cavaleri had already had a career that some people three times his age would struggle to fit in.
Between touring with BB King, performing for the Clinton family at the Kennedy Centre, jamming with Mark Knopfler and more all came after Cavaleri had won his battle with Leukaemia.
It was in 2010 that Cavaleri blacked out on a festival stage following a struggle with insomnia and anxiety. This prompted Cavaleri to step back for a period of four years "to move through those through years of paralysing anxiety/depression I had to ask myself the question, ‘Why’? Out of self-preservation, I had to find reasons to fight and be ruthless in discarding any reason that wasn’t rock solid.”
Cavaleri is now back, sharing his music once more, with his latest single, Demons, which you can check out the premiere of above, out on Monday 27 August.

Of the track, Cavaleri says it "captures what I felt when comparing the invincible self of the past to the fragile and lost self I had become and the beautiful realisations that can come from anguish."
Cavaleri is touring around the country from 6 October, head to theGuide for more info.
