PREMIERE: Maja Unveils Endearing & Elegant Clip For New Earworm 'Wake Up & Find'

The Melbourne-based songstress has just released her second EP, 'Still Bleeding'.

More Maja Maja

Brisbane-bred, Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Maja kicks off a tour in support of her newly released second EP, Still Bleeding, tonight and, to get you in the mood to dance, theMusic.com.au is stoked to present the premiere of the elegant and endearing video for her latest single, Wake Up & Find.

Directed by Dean Swindell, the clip features the talents not only of the muso behind the delightfully mellifluous tune but two swing dancers, Elanor Adeney and Mason Feltoe.

Starting with a tight focus on Maja as she reads Oscar Wilde and picks petals, Swindell utilises a charmingly old-school approach to the reveal of Adeney and Feltoe's presence, as a wall of tinsel falls away to reveal the dance partners doing their thing.

It's simple, certainly, but disarmingly effective, descriptors that could just as adequately describe Maja's sprightly soul-pop stylings, and suggests that her impending shows will be equally heartwarming and uplifting affairs.

Maja's Still Bleeding tour gets under way tonight at the Wesley Anne, with additional dates lined up in Ballarat, Brisbane, Nimbin, Adelaide and Bendigo. If you're keen to get your hands on the EP, hit up Maja's Bandcamp page.

Tickets for all shows are available via Oztix.
