VIDEO PREMIERE: Loiter – ‘In This Town’

The new music video from Aussie rockers Loiter, featuring members who hail from Brisbane, Newcastle and the UK, is something you might expect to see on RAGE on a Sunday morning.

Playing around with a projector, the band created a brilliant visual accompaniment for their latest single, In This Town.

“We used coloured backgrounds, projected footage and ‘70s disco to make this video come to life,” guitarist Mitch Chen told The Music.

“It never would have come together without Will Johnstone. When we arrived at the creative space to make this video, our projector was not large enough for what we had planned, so we utilised Will Johnstone’s genius to make it work.”

On the track itself, British-born frontman Daryn Yeats noted: “When I wrote the lyrics to In This Town, I was in a dark place. A volatile relationship was due to end as she was moving away, and although I knew it was probably for the best, in my immaturity I didn’t want it to.”
